My purpose is to help people invest in themselves to continuously build their skill sets while taking advantage of our growing community in Reno and all that it has to offer. Not only is this type of investment beneficial for ourselves, but for the people and communities that we care about. I believe it is important to find valuable ways to grow yourself through experiences, whether it is developing yourself professionally, personally or for your community. Empowering ourselves to discover our true capabilities leads us to be self-reliant, confident, and allows us to best serve others and leave a positive impact.
I hope to help people convert dreams and plans into action and reality by saying, “Yes” to experiences that are out of their routines and comfort zones in order to be happier, healthier and more capable versions of ourselves. In the past few years, I have realized how much my life has changed since I decided to step out of my comfort zones and really focus on investing in myself on many different levels. It has helped me become more self-reliant than I thought was possible, and has made me more effective in the many roles that I play in life.
I am a Reno native and currently an MBA student at the University of Nevada, Reno. My background is in management and event planning, and I also received my bachelor’s degree in Management from UNR. I met my husband at UNR as an undergraduate student and we have been married since 2011. Most of my time outside of school is spent with our two boys, who are 1 and 3 years old. We love to travel, go camping, and visit local businesses around Reno and Lake Tahoe.
